About perspectives: cognition process

Any experience  we pass through life is an infinite time to learn!

Suppose you are reading this chart above in order to learn something.

Every day in our licves we have experiences, some of then we are attempt, another we never will remember. Why?

Before we can think in any thing that happens our mind filters with our values, our beliefs, our culture and so on. Before you learn something your mind will not leave a great part of it enter into your mind and be processed by your brain.

Take a look of the picture again!

Besides, we materialized the way we see the word in the way we speak, the way we talk, the way we select our clothes, the newspaper we read, our friends and so on….

Enthusing

Coaches support their clients creating value-based goals. All humans have goals, desires, expectative. The great challenge is align these goals to what are primary goals ou secondary goals.

When we prioritize some of theses goals we can energize them. There is a scale of values in each creature and we can use this to align all goals.

Let us see the Maslow Piramid that we can see in his Theory of Human Motivation….

Superseize me please!

When we are kids, every time we do something new our mother superseize our actions!

She always is grateful and happy because of our progress and our success.

Why we can not have someone like our mothers all our life long? Our family – husband, children and others are always too busy to enthusing us and give us what we really deserve. Positive energy brings positive actions. We need help.

As I said about resilience: all humans can create a great life even though they had suffered a hard pain.

We want more than celebrate a new year, a new car or a new child or love. We need to celebrate life!

When bad things can teach how to live!

After being killed in a car accident, Chris Nielsen (Williams) goes to an afterlife derived from his wife’s paintings. Despite the paradise he now inhabits he is unhappy without his wife Annie (Sciorra). When Annie commits suicide following Chris’ death she is sent to hell. Adamant that they belong together, Chris commences a quest to rescue her, in the process discovering a number of characters from his past.

Many times in our lives, bad things can make us learn too much. Sometimes life is not exactly what we want, but we can change our point of view if we ask:

What I can learn with it?

We can use everything that happens with us as a lesson. Human beings has a quality that psychology calls as: RESILIENCE

This word comes from engineering and means: property of a material to absorb energy when it is deformed elastically and then, upon uploading to have this energy recovered.

People are resilient…

In all mankind history we can see many countries that were destroyed during the wars their reconstructed themselves. England, France, Germany, Japan are good examples of resilience, of course there are some many examples.

Humans can meet their equilibrium point if they have faith in somebody or something. If they have somebody that can remind them how far they can have go, how worth they are, how much they deserve.

There are many opportunities in life, in this uncountable numbers of opportunities in our life we can choose one, even though it is not the best, but it can be the right for us in that moment, we must see as the right one.

So let`s celebrate

Life is made of little things. All these little things together make our life what it is? Great!

The universe is made of little particles and even though it is great! It is infinite!

What coaching is?

Coaches help people to see the sun brightening all day long even when it is Winter, or
coaches lead people to listen to the music of ones mind, heart and soul….Coaching is empowerment.
I remember in my poetry classes this poem of Robert Frost:

The road not taken…

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

this is the difference…. to take the road that lead you to tomorrow

Coaches help people to see the world through several points of view.
When we are in trouble we cannot see all the bricks of this wall, for there are many information in our minds, we only can see the present, the things that fear us!
According of Wikkipedia:
Perspective (from Latin perspicere, to see through) in the graphic arts, such as drawing, is an approximate representation, on a flat surface (such as paper), of an image as it is perceived by the eye. The two most characteristic features of perspective are that objects are drawn:

* Smaller as their distance from the observer increases
* Foreshortened: the size of an object’s dimensions along the line of sight are relatively shorter than dimensions across the line of sight (see later).

As we can see this word in an ancient concept and it is linked to visual arts. In the XV and XVI centuries a new way to represent objects has come.
Since this time until our days this code has improve artists, architects and engineering and others to draw objects on three dimensions.

It was look at an object in 3 dimensions but in fact it was in two dimensions – a sheet of paper, a screen of a computer… all of them are in 2 dimensions, a wrong way to believe in world, but only now we know it.
From XIX century until now the art however, has taken another way: Cubism of Pablo Picasso, Dadaism of Tristan Tzara and other artistic movements of the beginning of XX century have changed the way to represent the reality.
In 1905, Einstein has revolutioned the world with this Relativity Theory, and now must people can have a different point of view of the same object and all of them can be right.
Beliefs, values, culture are all filters that reality enters in our senses of perception and distorce (or not) what we know!
